Effective date: March 8, 2026. This policy explains what data VideoSlides AI processes, how long it is kept, and how users can request deletion.

Uploaded files and linked media are processed through secured application workflows for transcription, slide extraction, generation, and export. We aim to limit access to authorized application components and storage operations only.

1. Data We Process

We may process your account email, password hash, verification codes, source video links, uploaded files, transcripts, OCR text, generated slides, exported files, and usage metadata required to operate the service.

2. How We Use Data

We use data to authenticate users, generate slides and exports, preserve workspace history, enforce plan limits, secure the platform, and respond to support or deletion requests.

3. Data Retention

We retain account and generation data only as long as needed for service operation, workspace history, billing, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Free-tier files and temporary assets may be removed automatically after the configured retention period. Retention settings may vary by deployment.

4. Secure Processing of Uploaded Files

Uploaded audio and video files are processed through controlled application services and storage integrations. Access is restricted to application workflows that need the files to transcribe, analyze, render, or export your generation. Temporary files and expired artifacts may be deleted automatically.

5. Data Deletion

You can delete workspace items individually where supported. You can also request account-level deletion or data removal through supported account-deletion flows. Once a deletion request is processed, associated files and generated artifacts are removed or scrubbed from active service storage, subject to any necessary fraud-prevention or legal retention obligations.

6. Verification and Password Reset

We use time-limited one-time passcodes to verify new accounts and support password reset. These codes expire automatically and are cleared after successful use.

7. Third-Party Services

The platform may rely on third-party infrastructure for payments, storage, AI generation, transcription, email delivery, and content delivery. Those providers process data only to the extent required to perform their services.
